Get Your Craft On - February!
What is this month's theme? Hearts!
The possibilities are endless. If you want to do another bag, why not make one with a sweet fabric heart pin, or do the lining in heart fabric. Perhaps one of us will make a mini art heart quilt. Maybe someone will do something with paint. Why not use this kind of heart:
Or how about a heart pin cushion! Or use Shrinky Dinks to make heart pendants. Or these adorable heart soaps that are on Martha Stewart's site.
Or is embroidery your thing? Or cross stitching? Creating collages? So many options, so many choices. Check out this valentine found on Martha's site.
You can take this month's theme and go as subtle as embroidering a tiny heart into the lining of a purse. Or you can go all out and create a 20 foot painting of a heart. You can sew, cross-stitch, collage, decoupage, draw, or do whatever you want.
I have several ideas of what I want to do this month, so maybe I will do more than one project. Though I did think that I would do more than one bag last month and I was lucky to get one bag finished.
Also, we have a surprise for those of you who Got Your Craft On in January. Keep on the look out for an announcement later today or tomorrow.
I, too, am bubbling with ideas. So much eye candy today! Can't wait to get started.

Mmmm - great idea! I've got some ideas already, and can't wait to see what the others come up with. Must go shopping for supplies!

Hmmmm, a few ideas stewing here.... I will definitely be getting my craft on again this month.
And thanks for the memory lane trip with the shrinky dink reference--I didn't even know they still made those!

Ah! I'm already done. Ok, kidding. But LSP is OBSESSED with hearts and we've been making hearts galore around here. And, fyi, it's pronounced hearTT. Make sure EVERYONE hears the final t.
