My mom used Zorba's polaroid camera to take this picture.  Zorba wanted to pose in front of her Mississippi fort.

My girl and I shot eachother simultaneously with our Polaroid cameras.  I found a great old Polaroid camera at flea market in Maine this summer ($10! A bargain!) Not the kind that Zorba is using, but older.  Zorba is using one that I found in a thrift store on our last trip to Maine.  ($1.99) I scanned the pics in on my Dad's scanner since we are here.  I need to fix all of them so they are straight, but I wanted to hurry up and share one for fun.

Well, we're in Mississippi.  I kind of feel like I've been on the go so much lately that I can't catch my breath.  Going to Maine (I want to go back now!), getting sick, staying sick, getting ready for the workshop, getting the house ready for the arrival of Ray's parents, the workshop, and now Mississippi.  Not a whole lot of time to sit down and rest.  Which is fine!  But, I am looking forward to a wee break soon.  Know what I mean?  

The workshop!  It was great!  It went well.  Since it was my second time hosting I knew exactly what I was doing and that made it a breeze.  I got to meet another group of amazing photographers and I got to listen to Skye some more.  I feel lucky that I had the chance to do this a second time!

Anyway, as usual, after I leave a workshop I feel all peppy and inspired.  I love that feeling!  I'm hoping to make that peppiness and inspired feeling last!
