I'm back, but like everybody else, I've been super busy preparing for Christmas. Shopping, shopping, wrapping, shopping, more wrapping, mailing, and shopping some more.
It is good to be home, yo.
I did get some bad news. My cat, Louise, has liver cancer. After our cat Hannah passed away earlier this year, Louise quit eating. We thought it was due to the stress of not having Hannah around, so she was placed on antibiotics, and given loads of ensure. We thought she was better, but she started losing weight again. The vet said he is pretty sure she has liver cancer, and that if treatment doesn't work by this Friday, she will need to be put to sleep. He said if she is not better by Friday, she would most likely die on her own over the weekend. However, if she is better, she can come home and will probably have a couple of months until her liver starts to fail her.
Oh, please, please, please, don't make us put her to sleep on Christmas Eve. Louise, please get better, please come home. Please, please, please. Yes, she is a cat, but please send warm thoughts to Miss Weez.
Anyway, I'm off to to some Christmas stuff. If I don't post again before Christmas is here, I want to wish all of you a happy holiday. Have fun and stay safe.
Warmest thoughts to you and yours, and especially Miss Weez.
