We're got home from Chicago last night. Luckily for us, it was a very easy ride home. Zorba fell asleep as soon as the plane took off and snoozed for well over an hour. Phew! We're happy to be home, but we miss Chicago Mama and the Chicago Children.
So it was a great trip. We recognized eachother easily and it was like visiting with old friends, which was very cool, but at the same time it was very surreal seeing these women that I've grown to love over the internets standing right in front of me. I didn't get enough time with any of them and feel like I didn't get to visit enough with any of them. If anything, meeting all of them makes me want to get to know them more. I can't wait until we can all get together again. It will not be soon enough.
I left my camera in Chicago, or else I might post a photograph or two. Maybe Wednesday when my camera comes home.
Ohhh, one thing. While there, Cmama, American Family, and I went to Mitsuwa and I bought some neat-o Japanese craft books. And I got to visit an Ikea for the very first time ever. Ikea, I love you.
I've got a very busy week ahead of me. Lots of cleaning to do, as well as work on something for Zorba's second birthday. My baby is turning two on the 30th!
Glad you had a good time. I would have loved to have met you in person- perhaps next time.

That picture of Zorba the Tiny in the G2BS photo section - unbelievable! She looked so... mature. She's growing so fast, has she really grown that much?

so nice to meet you in person, finally! And Zorba, she is fabulous! Hope she suffers no long lasting injuries from Dumpling *comforting* her on the couch!

Glad you're home and had a great trip! So excited you went to IKEA. I love IKEA so much and am so happy when other people discover the wonderfulness that is IKEA. Can't wait to see pics!

I wish we all could have chatted more, too! My only lamentation about the whole trip. Still, it was wonderful to meet you... Zorba (and her mom!) are even more lovely in person.

There is an IKEA in Houston. You should have gone when you were here, silly!

Well, I'm just going to sound like everyone else but of course I would have liked more time with you. At least I got you and the girl at Dim Sum and that was fun. Bummed I missed the crafty goodness because it sounds like lots of fun.
And, you forgot your camera? You photographer you? Ack. Do you feel like you're missing a limb right now?
