Ray didn't want to be shown, so I had to conceal his face. Here you can see Zorba and Ray waiting for me to get ready. I think it was 9:00 am. I think. I was sooo tired from the night before. Zorba getting up at 3 am, etc.
Zorba pushing a stool across the kitchen.
Playing with stacking cups sent by my secret pal. I need to thank my secret pal still. I must do this today.
I'm ready!
Geek heaven! We got another external hard drive for me to store my pics on. I'm running out of space on my laptop. Ray had to check out the televisions. He loves to check out the televisions.
Zorba told me she was hungry and I was hungry, so I told Ray that he needed to feed us. We headed to the Domain (don't ask) and went into a fancier restaurant than we usual. We debated whether these flowers were real or plastic. They were real.
Zorba took this photo of Ray.
Zorba's milk. We had a great waiter. Zorba had pasta, and she had a good time slurping up the noodles. She had to go in time out once...or twice. I can't remember why. Ray had a hamburger and I had a french dip. I thought lunch was pretty good. When we were exiting our booth, Zorba declared, "Mama, I have to pee! I have to pee!"
A candle in the bathroom. It was a nice bathroom.
At Borders. This author was there signing books. I had a nice conversation with him and he signed a book for Zorba.
After Borders we let Zorba play with this water feature for a bit. Then we went home to take a break.
Zorba wanted to watch one of her dvds on my laptop. I forget why she was crying here, but it wasn't a big deal. I had to put my camera down and tend to her. We decided to head out to look at playscapes.
We didn't realize how expensive these playscapes can run. Now we know. Zorba had a great time trying them all out. We decided that we need to shop around.
Zorba was sad to leave, but we assured her that we would find more playscapes for her to try out.
And we did, we found another playscape dealer.
I feel overwhelmed by all of the playscape choices.
This place was more reasonable than the first place we went.
We are going to get Zorba a playscape, we just don't know from where or which one.
We told Zorba that it was time to go. She was running towards me when she fell down and skinned her knees. To cheer her up, we let her play for five more minutes. As soon as she got on one of the playscapes, she forgot all about her booboos.
The booboos weren't bad, thankfully. She requested lots of kisses on them and even kissed them herself a few times. She was exhausted once we got in the car. And she said she was hungry.
She was tired and on the verge of a meltdown.
Since we had nothing to eat at home, we stopped off at HEB. Meltdown # one happened. She was not pleased about having to sit in the cart. I pushed a crying Zorba around the store. She cheered up once she was presented with one of the bucks that I posted about below.
Meltdown number 2 happened as soon as we got home. She was filthy and hungry. I started making her dinner and then dragged her into the tub. Woooo boy, it was ugly. She screamed bloody murder for a long time. Finally, once she was out of the tub, bandaids had been applied to her booboos, and she was given her food, she was okay.
The booboos. My Little Pony bandaids on one knee and Sesame Street bandaids on the other knee. She was in such a state, that I thought she might meltdown further over this. I half expected her to lose it because I didn't put My Little Pony bandaids on BOTH knees, but she didn't. I was counting down the minutes until I could put her to bed.
7:00 pm. BED!!!! She was in a good mood once I put her down. She got up a couple of times, but pretty much slept through the night. She came in this morning at 7:00 am, got in bed with us, and fell back asleep.
After she went to bed, I uploaded pics to my computer and posted the pics from Friday. I surfed the web and then we went to bed.
It was a good day!
And that is that! Exciting stuff, huh?
