Wax On. Wax Off

Got the bikini wax. It wasn't bad. In fact, she was the best waxer I've ever been to. She was speedy and she must have some magic in her wax because it didn't hurt that much. She offered to do a Brazillian for me, but I declined. But, if I ever decide to to that, she is the one I would go to. Of course, she is in Mississippi, so if I ever decide to do a Brazillian, I need to do it while visiting my parents. Hmmm.

Mississippi Still

I'm still in Mississippi. Zorba and I came here so I could go to another photography workshop. The workshop ended yesterday and I learned a ton, but I'm overwhelmed with info right now. I have images to share, but I haven't uploaded any of them to my computer yet.

I have a bikini wax scheduled for 1:00 today. I'm dreading it. But it is necessary as I'm going on a mini beach vacation this weekend! My new bathing suit is ready, but my nethers are not. I'm just praying that my blood is not so thin that the bikni wax causes major bruising. I once ended up with some frightening navy blue bruises all over my bikini line. It was disgusting and shameful. But, even if I end up with a battered bikini line, nothing is stopping me from riding the waves on my soon to be purchased styrofoam boogie board.

Can't Sleep

It is 1:30 in the morning and I can't sleep.  And considering that I have to be up in an hour and a half I'm wondering if I should even bother trying to go to sleep.  Probably not.  Zorba and I are headed to Mississippi on a VERY early flight.  What was I thinking?  Well, I thought that if we took the earliest flight possible that we would have a better chance of actually making it to Mississippi.  Whenever I have flown into Mississippi, I've never been on time.  It is the damn layover in Houston that messes everything up. 

I am going to be so tired by the time we get to my parent's.  I'm already fantasizing about the nap I am going to take.

Three Years Old

Dental Cleaning

I'm getting ready to brush my teeth for the last time before going to the dentist.  Ughh.  You know how I feel about the dentist, right?  It scares me.  I'm prepared for the tsk tsks.  I've been good about brushing.  I do 2 minutes solid every morning and every night with my sonicare.  But I'm a sporadic flosser, so that is going to count against me, I'm sure. 

I've popped the antibiotics that are supposed to keep my heart free of infection and Ray is due home soon to watch the now three years old Zorba.  I forgot to post on her birthday, but on July 30, my baby turned 3.  How is that possible?  I have pics that I will get around to posting. 

But for now, my toothbrush is calling.
