I went to a friend's baby shower today.  It was a lot of fun.  I got to hang out with my friend (we don't get to see eachother that often) and I got to meet a bunch of her other friends (I really, really liked all of them).  All of them made me want to move to south Austin....even though all of them have seen several scorpions in their houses and some brown recluse spiders.   It is the brown recluse spiders that scare me the most. 

Anyway, I left for the shower at 10:30 and got home by nearly 5:00.  I should have brought my camera to the shower, but I forgot it.  So I got home and the first thing I did was grab my camera and run outside to get my image for the day.  This is a vintage tricycle that I got at an antique store.

She is so beautiful.  So, so beautiful.  And silly too.  Very, very silly. 

 

I have A LOT of pictures of Zorba picking her nose.  She is not a huge fan of having her photo taken so she does the nose picking thing a lot to get me to put to my camera down and to push my buttons.  However, this time she got a booger and held it out for me to see! 

Boogers make me sick, just so you know.  They gag me.  Though to be honest, her boogers are probably the only boogers that don't make me dry heave instantly.  BUT, still, I don't want to see her boogers!  And she knows it.  And this is why she took joy in holding her booger out for me to see.  But I took a picture of it!  I some how managed to keep my cool long enough to focus in on it and get it!

She loves this series, of course.  She thinks it is hilarious!   I wonder what she will think about it when she is a teenager.  I kind of think she'll think it is funny, but who knows.

I cleaned a lot today.  I have more cleaning to do tomorrow.  But, my house is much cleaner today than it was yesterday. 

 

 

These were taken before I left for HEB (grocery store).  I thought I would bring my camera grocery shopping, but once I got there I got nervous that they would ask me to put it away.  So I only snapped one quick picture in the laundry detergent aisle.  I am a wuss. 

 

This is just proof that I was there.  I really wish I had not been such a wuss and had taken the time with this.

I got this lil'vintage watering can at the flea market in Canton.   It love it.  It was $6.00.  Some of you might think that it was too much to pay, some of you might think it was a good price.  I thought it was worth it because I love it!  And so does Zorba.  This is her watering can.  Right now you'll find this sitting on my front porch.  It looks like my front porch needs a good sweep.

Best Toy Ever

Joybucket posted about these cardboard blocks before Christmas and I thought it sounded like something that Zorba would like, so I got her two boxes for Christmas.  Let me tell you, they are so much fun.  All of us love to play with them and Zorba plays with them for at least an hour a day...more on the days she doesn't go to school. 

Usually we build houses out of them, but tonight we built a tower for Z to knock down.

Anyway, we love these blocks.  They are awesome and very sturdy.  Zorba stands on top of them all of the time. And they are having a 20% off sale right now, so we ordered a few more boxes because we want to build bigger things.  The only downside to these suckers is that they take up space to store them.  We just keep thing in front of our fireplace for easy access. 

Another fun thing to do with these blocks?  Line them up like dominoes!!  Fun!

I'm in a serious 365 funk.  If it wasn't for posting my images here and having friends who are doing this too, I think I would be considering throwing in the towel.  But I'm not.  I'm just going to keep trudging along until I can get back in the 365 groove. 

This is Kallie, by the way.  She is used to be our foster pug, but now she is just our pug.  She is a mess, but I love her.

I'm going to use my "get out of jail free" card for yesterday's 365 image.  I just did not have it in me to do something other than lift my camera up and click the button.  BUT, I did take pictures. 

 

Zorba broke into the finger paints and went hog wild yesterday.
